Effects of Kintape W shape

tips by kintape director

Different from X I Y, W shape is very impressed about blood circulation.

Kintape W shape also called claw type, and is generally used to treat silting and expansion. lumps, and create flow guidance as well as realign subcutaneous fascia.

1. Apply the connection point first

Apply the connection points, then apply the claw branches while stretching. Take flow guidance as the principal and the fixed point as the final trend point. It is generally used in detumescence, swelling as well as varicosity. Claw branches are usually covering swelling points, with fixed points connected near the heart end. when being applied in varicosity, apply branches in the varicosity positions requiring treatment, and apply the connected ends near the blood return point of the venous blood vessels. If rigescent (stiff or numb) muscle is needed, it is in general the most common shape, applied along the direction of the muscle (enhancement) or blood vessel backflow.

2. Apply the end of branches first

Sort out the fascia to diffuse extravasated blood. apply dispersion points one after another. then stretch branches while applying until reaching the connection points. to form a force direction toward dispersion points and guide the flow from one point to bifurcations. This is generally applied to clear extravasated blood in one point, or when flow directions of the blood and lymph contradict with that of muscles, germs, etc, in treating problems involving blood, lymph, etc.

3. Cross

When two claw kintapes are applied in a cross with a certain angle while the fixed end is close to heart position (common position, net necessarily the case - other crosses are allowed with weakened effects), the blood pressure at the cross site will be forced to break, and the blood circulation will be accelerated violently and expand continuously. In the end, the entirety of the involved blood system is much higher in pressure than the area to be applied. For detumescence and the treatment of varicosity, if applicable, treat these two simultaneously. It shall be noted that a single bar has the function of one-way flow guidance. And when two or more bars are used together, it is not one-way flow guidance but a circulatory system instead.

4. Combine

broken image

Combine two claw kintapes, i.e. connected in the middle and divided into claw type at the ends. For this taping method. first apply the middle section and then apply the branches while stretching to achieve the exchange of energy and substance in the middle point (acupuncture points effect). For application, the interposition is usually applied onto the injured point. Two claw kintapes are separately for lymph or blood. The applied position in the middle will be lifted as well. The effects are inferior to that of X type or other shapes while the effects of flow guidance and exchange are optimum. Particular circumstances, such as swelling and other potential inflammation, will cause the claw kintape on one side to cover the swelling position as well; the claw kintape on the other side will try to collect the blood or lymph. The middle section lies between the two points, corresponding to a treatment center.

Considerations for all the above applications:

1. The starts of all kintapes shall not be stretched and must be completely tension-free;

2. There shall be a buffer between the tension-free site and the stretched site to avoid sudden change (cliff-type cutting);

3. All ends must be tension-free;

4. The tension-free front section and tension-free rear section at all ends shall form a buffer to avoid sudden change (cliff-type cutting);

5. The tensile strength is overall subject to the specification of 120%, 140%, and 160% while tapering range and special applications are not.
